Dr. Benjamin Büttner
Dr. Benjamin Büttner is the head of the Research Group on Accessibility Planning at TUM. He received his PhD in engineering after having completed a German Diploma in geography. He currently works in the fields of accessibility planning and decision and policy making. Urban and transport planning, as well as governance, are the foci of his professional skills. He led multiple research projects ranging from regional to European level. He is the founding co-editor-in chief of the Journal of Urban Mobility and is also on the editorial board of the Journal of Transport Geography. Since 2019 he is the head of the EIT Urban Mobility “Doctoral Training Network”.
I found it very promising, helpful, and the knowledge that you gain from the course is the appropriate in order to understand the concept of15-minute cities, better. The examples of cities that the course is using and the statistics presented, are also very interesting.
