We know that climate change and the rise of energy demand are two megatrends that are challenging the way we live… and the way we move around our cities.

Marc Torrell

Dr. Marc Torrell is a researcher in the Nanoionics and Fuel Cell Group of ​​the Energy Research Institute of Catalonia (IREC). His main lines of research are the structural and electrochemical characterization of materials for fuel cells and high temperature electrolysers, as well as the development of new innovative concepts of hydrogen use and production technologies.
He has a degree in Chemistry for the University of Barcelona and a degree in Materials Engineering for the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Marc defensed his PhD in Chemistry on 2008 and has already published more than 60 works on international scientific journals and has published 4 book chapters focused on advanced materials and their uses for energy.
He actively participates in European and National research programs for the development of hydrogen technologies and is being very active in dissemination and outreach events related with the energy transition.

Brais Armiño

Brais works as consultant at AtlantHy, a hydrogen-specialized company. Brais defines himself as a hydrogen fan and has been in this sector since the beginning of his career.
In the last years, Brais has worked developing hydrogen production plants, hydrogen refueling stations, assessing hydrogen markets and competitiveness of hydrogen for each application.
As a result of this experience, Brais has an extensive knowledge of where hydrogen can provide value in our society and what efforts must be taken to bring this value to reality.

El Hidrógeno como alternativa

Luego de ver las múltiples diferencias entre los distintos tipos de combustibles, se puede observar que vehículos que funcionan con Hidrógeno son una alternativa ha este cambio que esta sufriendo el planeta, debemos ser optimistas que los gobiernos implementen este tipo de tecnología y dejen de depender de combustibles fósiles
