it's important to grasp both the core principles and the practical steps of planning.

I found the SUMP course insightful and aligned with my expectations. It provided a solid understanding of people-centered mobility planning, emphasizing citizen involvement, interdepartmental cooperation, and aligning transport with climate goals. The course was practical, though I would’ve liked more depth on funding models and political challenges. Overall, very valuable.

From general to specific

The course give a solid overview of the SUMP idea and goals. However, for people who are already in the matter, I think it would be more useful to get more specific examples. Thank you for your effort!

SUMP and Traditional Planning

I have a clear distinction between SUMP and traditional planning. It is clear that SUMP is people centric while the traditional planning is traffic or motor centric. The level of citizens' participation differs between the two. It is such a great opportunity to come across this course!

Good initial overview

Good initial overview, clear visual models and explanations. Contains examples of good practices but they could be more concrete, and show more how certain plans contributed to the defined KPIs. Good references to further reading.
