I would think that the survey results align closely with my expectations withn the Sri Lankan context, it’s very much the same. Men typically drive, while women usually travel as passengers in private cars and three-wheelers, which have become quite popular for women on short trips. Women tend to walk more and rely more on public transportation, which is also quite similar. The issues of safety, sustainability seem to be common among women same in Sri Lanka.
