About the Course
This course is inspired by the online program “Inclusive Mobility for an Ageing Population,” developed by RMIT Europe. The original version offers a deeper, five-week learning journey, with approximately 10 hours of content. It provides more time to explore diverse perspectives, engage with peers through structured activities, and reflect on the broader context of inclusive mobility for ageing populations in urban settings. If you’re interested in diving deeper into the topic, you can access the full course on the FutureLearn website: Inclusive Mobility for an Ageing Population

Blanca Fondevila
This course offers a humanized perspective on ageing and urban mobility. It shows planners and professionals that good design is not just technical — it directly impacts health, active living, and social connection. A powerful reminder that mobility and accessibility are about people’s wellbeing and dignity.
Clear, well-structured course with real examples of how cities can better serve older adults. The focus on barriers and inclusive design was especially useful for my research in sustainable mobility. Short but packed with actionable ideas.
