Workshop Terms and Conditions
The promotion
The promoter and who is responsible for the personal data file of this contest is Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) by EIT Urban Mobility, located at PayFit, Carrer de Pamplona 104 – 3rd floor, 08018 Barcelona, Spain
To encourage participants to enrol and complete a UMX online course, UMX will offer the first 50 participants who completed the course the opportunity to attend an online workshop related to the course topic, along with a free course certificate for all participants. To receive the free course certificate, participants must enter the promo code WoonerfWorkshop in the coupon box on the Check Out page. This certificate is available for every participant who completes the course ‘Designing a Liveable Neighbourhood: The Woonerf Concept’. The contest is run in collaboration with All Things Urban and Humankind. This contest will be carried out in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
Participants are invited between 8am, May 25, 2026, and 11:59 pm June 21, 2026, to complete a UMX course titled ‘Designing a Liveable Neighbourhood: The Woonerf Concept’ available on urbanmobilitycourses.eu.
Participation implies the complete and absolute acceptance of these terms. Individuals with the intention of harming or damaging the image of the contest or UMX will be automatically disqualified.

Participation will be active from 8am, May 25, 2026, until 11:59pm CET, June 21, 2026.
Contest Description
Workshop Participation Terms and Conditions
1. Participants are invited to enrol in the UMX’s free ‘Designing a Liveable Neighbourhood: The Woonerf Concept’ course available on urbanmobilitycourses.eu
2. Participants must complete the course between 8am, May 25, 2026, and 11:59 PM CET, June 21, 2026.
3. After completing the course, participants must apply the promo code WoonerfWorkshop.
This promo code entitles the participant to:
- a free course certificate, and
- the chance to attend an exclusive online workshop with the course expert.
The first 50 participants* who both successfully complete the course and apply the promo code will receive an invitation by email from UMX to participate in the workshop.
UMX will send an email with the workshop invitation after course completion and promo code redemption. UMX will contact the first 50 participants through their email address provided during point of registration on urbanmobilitycourses.eu platform. Participants are requested to ensure their email address details are correct and up to date. When the participant receives this email, they must select their preferred date and time in the form included in the email. Only by completing form will the participant secure a place in the workshop.
In the event that the participant does not complete the form and select prefer date and time within 3 days of receiving the email from UMX, or if the participant declines to attend the event, a new participant will be selected, and the previous participant will forfeit their right to claim a spot at the workshop.
*There is a limited number of spaces for the workshop available. To ensure the workshop remains interactive and engaging, participation is capped at 50 participants (25 participants per session). Participants who are not allocated a place will be added to a waitlist and notified about any future workshop opportunities.
Participation Conditions
To participate in the contest and be eligible to attend the workshop, the participant must meet the following requirements:
- Being registered with the Urban Mobility Explained (UMX)- free registration available at urbanmobilitycourses.eu;
- Being 18 years or older;
- Complete the ‘Designing a Liveable Neighbourhood: The Woonerf Concept’ within the timeline outlined below

Promotion Mechanics
Workshop Access
The first 50 participants to complete the ‘Designing a Liveable Neighbourhood: The Woonerf Concept’ course between 8am, May 25, 2026, and June 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM CET and apply the promo code WoonerfWorkshop, will receive an email from UMX inviting them to register their place for the Woonerf Workshop. Participants can expect this email within 5 business days of completing the course and applying the code. The participant must complete the form in the email and select their preferred date and time. Failure to complete this step will result in their place been offered to another a participant.
Every participant who completes the course and applies the promo code WoonerfWorkshop will automatically receive a free certificate for the course completed.
Notification to Winners
Assignment of Image Rights and /or Intellectual Property of the Winner
Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) will contact by email the participant within a maximum of 5 business days upon completing the course and applying the promocode to formally notify the participant with more information about how attend the workshop. In this regard, UMX reserves the right to request that the participant provide all personal data that is reasonably necessary to attend the workshop. The participant’s refusal to provide this personal data, if it objectively prevents the participant from attending the event will result in the loss of the right to their place in the event as described below:
If 3 natural days have passed since the first notification by UMX to the participant without any response from the participant, or if the participant refuse to provide any of the requested personal data (as specified in the previous paragraph), the participant will lose their right to attend the event.
Likewise, the right to attend the event will not be granted to a participant who does not meet the eligibility requirements stipulated in these terms and conditions.
The accuracy of all data provided by the participant is a necessary condition to access the event. UMX is not responsible for the correct fulfilment of the prize if the provided data is incorrect or incomplete. Any changes in the participant’s data must be notified to UMX as soon as possible to ensure attendance of event.

If any clause or part of a clause of these terms were or became null, illegal, or unenforceable, this clause or part of a clause will be deemed as not included in the terms, without affecting the validity, legality, or enforceability of the rest of the terms.
In case of non-compliance with any of the clauses of these terms, the participant will be automatically disqualified from the promotion and will no longer be eligible to receive the prize offered.
The promotion is organized and subject to the laws of Spain. These terms will be governed by Spanish law, and the competent courts and tribunals in the domicile of Barcelona will have jurisdiction for the resolution of any dispute related to the terms of the promotion.
