As a trained urbanist, I chose to follow a range of EIT courses to strengthen my understanding of strategic planning instruments that may help us to strenghten the public's awareness and acceptance for a sustainability mobility transition. This course (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans - SUMPs) provided a solid overview of the goals, legal status, implementation and barriers of SUMPs, whereby I appreciated the focus on participation as basis for its success in the long run.
